r134a couplers that don't leak

300zxer on Thu February 12, 2009 1:40 PM User is offline

I have had touble with my r134a high and low side couplers leaking, especially during evacuation. I had to borrow a low side hose from a friend to make sure I had no leaks in the sytem under vacuum the last time. What are a good set of couplers that won't leak that I can attach to my hoses? Is there a specific design I am looking for? The hose I borrowed was a Snap-On and it worked well. The leak in my coupling seemed to be arround the valve stem because I could sense a refrigerant leak between the On/Off knob. I don't see anyway to repair it.
