1994 RX-7 MANA Reciever/Drier

94RX-7 on Thu January 22, 2009 7:23 PM User is offline

My 1994 RX-7 has the MANA type receiver dryer, but the only reciever/drier shown on the AMA site for this car is for the Nippondenso system. Can y'all get the MANA system drier? I called last week and talked to a young sounding guy about it...he was going to call me back to let me know whether or not you could get it but I haven't heard back from him.

Does it look like either of these two driers?

The first drier pictured is the one I need (the one with the bracket on the side)!

Where is it made? Does the supplier have a good track record of producing reliable parts?

We only deal with suppliers that have a good reputation! I'll see what I can find out for you in the morning but there shouldn't be any availability issues on that drier.

No luck on sourcing the drier at this point. 4 main suppliers state discontinued. Shaft seal is available and I'm waiting to confirm the cost as this is a pricey shaft seal.

Well that's just great! Know of anybody that rebuilds driers or could fabricate a custom one where the top screws off to accept a desiccant bag?

I sent you an eMail concerning the shaft seal.
