Hey all,
I have a 1993 Dodge D-250 Diesel Truck and I am need to replace a hose between the accumulator and the condenser. The fitting at the condenser is round and has a spring inside of it. How do I remove it?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Go to your favorite parts house- or order on-line here- and get the spring-lock connector - disconnect tool- basically and expander for the garter spring- - they may them in plastic and good ones are metal...

-------------------------
The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......

This is for toyota and I don't think this is the right tool.

Would you please send me the link for the correct tool to order.

On the old Dodge you should need the American standard type, usually called a Ford springlock tool because Ford originated these lousy connectors. AMA and most places that sell car tools will have them, much more common than the Toyota.
