95 mustang gt compressor won't engage

okay, so i bought this car, a/c no worky. i tried to jump the low pressure switch, nothing. fuses are fine. where do i start?

I had one last summer with the same problem. There is some sort of computer box thing on those that goes bad. Thats all I know. We couldn't figgure it out so we sent it packing.

Check to see if there is pressure in the system, jumping the low pressure switch still should have started it even if empty. So make sure the compressor isn't coming on with the switch jumped and it's just not cold, then try tapping the front of the clutch inward with the AC on, if it starts, then the clutch gap needs adjustment. The "box" referred to is the CCRM, and not sure if it's located in the same area as the one pictured below, I think this is a newer one..?? but it's under the hood or fender. You will need the wire diagram to check it. Check for 12v going into and out of the cycling switch also, a test light is fine for that. The compressor relay is in the CCRM on most Fords that have them..

Now I remember the customer saying that they had to pull the fender off to acess that thing.
