1999 F-150 Manifold Hose

jbrooks26 on Mon September 29, 2008 8:13 PM User is offline

Year: 1999
Make: Ford
Model: F-150
Engine Size: 4.6L
Refrigerant Type: R134A
Pressure Low: 0
Pressure High: 0

Hey Guys,

A friend of mine has this truck and from what he is describing to me the manifold hose on the high pressure side of the compressor has blown. I looked real quick like in the ACKITS web page and I didn't see any hoses listed for this truck. My question is this, Does this truck use a single manifold assembly where the hose from the evap comes to the compressor and the high pressure side (with what sounds like a muffler in line) goes up to the condenser? Or can the high pressure side be replaced by itself? I understand that the drier and the orifice will need to be replaced. Does ACKITS carry this hose and what should I expect to pay for it? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys,

Josh

The truck uses the FS10 compressor, so it will have a one piece manifold assembly, not two seperate hoses.. E-mail the guys at Ackits.com and they can tell you if they have it, or can get it for you..Hope this helps..

Service like that, it is why I keep coming back here. Thanks Tim, it is greatly appreciated and never forgotten. I have recommended this site to many a friend and I will always shop here first. I have yet to find a part that you can't get. Just let me know about the pricing in the morning, I didn't see a search feature on the store front that would allow me to search using the item number. Anyway, great work!! Completely unexpected getting an answer so quickly, especially after hours. Thanks again.

I tried the search button, but the item number was not found. No big deal, I can wait. Thanks Tim,

You would not find it in a search as we have not added it yet. I sure wish we had the site completed with all the parts we have access too!!!!!
