compressor oil

Recieved my rebuilt nippondenso compressor today,my question,does it need oil added and if so
where do I add it ? Has a plug in the under side could this be where to add oil .
Need to know amount also. How much should be added in the dryer?

I always drain shipping oil form reman compressors. Then use a little extra of the intended oil type to help wash out any manufacturing material. After that is done I add back the OEM specifications. Drain plug or suction port is where I add and remove oil. Other vendors may have their own suggestions.
