can I use some sort of tape to tape up AC lines?

I was wondering is there a special tape I can use to tape up AC lines? Thanks. Oh also is there a thermo tape to help keep the lines cold when it's near hot components.

If you have a leak in a rubber hose the only cure is to replace it. A hose shop can crimp new rubber onto your metal end fittings. Bad spots in metal lines can be welded or brazed, though if caused by corrosion there are probably other thin spots you can't see yet.

Should clarify if you are after insulation or fixing leaks. Certainly not for fixing leaks and insulation is also debatable as it can trap moisture leading to premature corrosion problems.
