not cold enough--only 10 drop from ambient

Year: 1991
Make: Lincoln
Model: Town Car
Engine Size: 4.6
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: 70 F
Pressure Low: 70#
Pressure High: 70#
Country of Origin: Uruguay

That is stable pressures, after sitting all night. cycles 22-44#, occasionally compressor clutch doesn't activate after its run a bit--separate problem I think. BDA activates correctly. While working, at idle, cycles correctly and high side doesn't exceed 160#. Looks like professional retrofit. Last year it blew ice, parked outside most of the winter. Evaporator inlet feels very cold, outlet, before accumulator, is warm. My first guess is the orifice tube is clogged. No noise from compressor, so I'm thinking excess, congealed oil in the O tube. Anybody got other ideas?

Have the system evacuated and recharged properly, you may have a leak..hope this helps..
