o-tube question

NY450ES on Tue July 22, 2008 4:13 PM User is offline

Year: 1998
Make: jeep
Model: grand cherokee
Engine Size: 4.0
Refrigerant Type: 134

can anyone tell me where the o-tube is located?

It's located in the liquid line between the condenser and the evaporator.. You usually have to change the whole line. Below is a pic of an earlier Grand cherokee, I'm not sure if it's the same as the 98, but liquid line on those run up along the passenger fender to the evap and the O tube as you can see is crimped into the line..
Hope this helps
