BVA Auto 100

Is it ok to use the BVA Auto 100 in a GM R4 compressor as they recommend a high viscosity 150 iso oil and the BVA is only 100 iso.

Yes, I've used it a dozen times in R4 retrofits, works great..Even with R12...Hope this helps..

Thanks for the quick response Chick. Did you notice the compressors making any more noise then usual?
The reason I ask is I have been running sercon ester ii which is iso 150 for the last 12 years in my old truck and have run out. My front seal needs changing as it looses the charge over winter due to sitting and takes some oil with it. I cannot seem to find this viscosity in an Polyol Ester, only PAG.

No difference in noise with R134a or R12..It's a good oil..
