1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 Parts

94RX-7 on Sat June 14, 2008 9:12 AM User is offline

Mazda has stopped making a bunch of A/C parts for these cars....even things like the driers and expansion valves. Do you guys at AMA have listings for these parts for this car? This car had A/C systems from two different suppliers depending on the trim level and when it was made.....

You can see what we have currently listed in this link. If you need something not listed send me an email as we have access top many items not yet listed on the site.

When I open up the list for the 1994 RX-7 it takes me to http://www.ackits.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=01&Category_Code=Mazda90RX7_1-3 which says "1990 Mazda RX7 1.3 Liter Engine" at the top. The reciever/dryer pictured on that page is not correct. The drier should be flat on top with two bolt holes and two holes for refrigerant to flow through....no threaded fittings, no sightglass. The expansion valve shown looks like it might be correct for the MANA system equipped cars. I do own a 1994 RX-7 but I don't need any parts at the moment. Rather alarmingly, very few parts are available for these systems from Mazda anymore, but there are lots of guys out there who DO need parts, and if you can get parts, I'm going to send them your way.

Got most of it fixed tonight. 1992 is still missing right now. I look into double checking the availability of items and get the 92 page loaded in the next few days.

Thanks for updating that. I'll let the guys know. Don't worry about 1992.....there was no 1992 RX-7 for North America.

I just looked at the page for the 1994....the drier pictured is still wrong. It should have pad mounts on top. Compressor and TXV look correct. Do you happen to have listings for any other parts such as the lines or the evaporator or condenser?

I just looked at the page for the 1993....that drier is correct....although there are two different driers for this car....one for the factory installed system (Nippondenso) and one for the port installed system (MANA). Which drier is that? Also, the condenser shown listed on the 1993 page....is that ND or MANA? Fittings are different....

The page for the 1995 shows what appears to be the Nippondenso system's expansion valve. You might want to notate that on that page.

Any luck on getting this sorted out? One of the guys said he ordered a TXV the other day....
