I need to adjust the air gap on my A/C and I can't figure out how to remove the Clutch Plate. I had this apart before and replaced the bearing, but now I'm stuck. I am sure I used a modified Harmonic Balancer Puller tool before, but there is no threaded holes to grab. What kind of special tool do I need? It's a Sanden compressor. 709T, not sure what the exact model is.
Should have 3 6mm holes in the hub.

I'm not seeing that. There are three holes there, but no threads. Nothing to screw into. Is there a special tool for this? I'm loathe to start prying on it.
Post an image of the front of the hub so we can see what you are up against.

The holes without thread indicate it is a splined shaft. The "correct" way to remove the clutch is to pry it off with screwdrivers.
I just did this yesterday on a '99 Cherokee with Sanden 709.
PS How do you check the air gap when the air gap is hidden by the rim of the pulley wheel?

You use a magnetic based indicator gage- and push in on the plate- the indicator tell you how much it moved.....

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
Most of those Sanden hubs almost fall off. I have used two flat blades also in the past.
