Engine Size: 1.9
Refrigerant Type: r134
The clutch coil is open and needs to be replaced. How much trouble is it to replace on this car?
Hardest part is getting the clutch driver off- if it is anything like the '93 S-series I just did-- look for the three threaded holes on the driver- if they are there- then you will need a 3 slotted puller and the right screws to get the press fit spline apart- can be a real bear- I spent over an hr once doing it-- the new one will be slip fit---
Your '00 may be slip fit- if so, you can wiggle it out......
The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
There are no holes, no threads no nothing. I cannot see how to remove it. I have pictures I can send.
