2000 Jeep Cherokee Lines

MajorHavoc on Wed May 14, 2008 8:51 PM User is offline

Year: 2000
Make: Jeep
Model: Cherokee
Engine Size: 4.0
Refrigerant Type: R134a

I am doing a repair on a Jeep Cherokee, it is a later model 2000 which uses a 2001 drier. I have two questions.

1. Where is the OT located?

2. The metal lines seem to have connections that are crimped to prevent them from coming apart at the connections, but will twist so they must have an o-ring. How do I disassemble/re-assemble these connections in order to flush the system before charging?

Thanks
Mike

On this Jeep you will need the Spring Lock Tool to remove these fittings. The O-tube will be located in the liquid line from the condenser to the evaporator. Hope this helps and good luck!
