Cabin Blower CFM

Guetenburg on Tue January 08, 2008 11:03 AM User is offline

Year: 2007
Make: Ford
Model: Mustang
Engine Size: v6
Refrigerant Type: R134?
Ambient Temp: 70
Country of Origin: United States

I'm just trying to understand my system better. Can anyone give me an understanding of the CFM for the blower (inside the car) on a 2007 Mustang (or any car for that matter) on a low setting and on a high setting?

High settings are generally around 500 cfm for about four complete air changes per minute, low settings are lower.

Thanks Nick!

My system never actually turns off, the lowest setting = 1, and it is just a light fan. What would be your estimation for what this setting is?

It will turn off if you move the mode switch to off, I am guessing at around 80 cfm.

Thanks again!
