Ha, one way the US government can give us a happy new year is to either do away with the IRS or change their mode of operation. Prefer the former but with the latter, they already got a huge hunk of our money, let's just call it even, 2007 is history and leave it as history. The other way is for the IRS to send each of us a tax bill detailing all the charges as they seem to know more about our finances than we do.

But the way it is, going to drag us back each day of last year accounting for every penny made and spent. We were thought in school never to use a double negative in a sentence, where did these IRS guys go to school with triple and quadruple negatives in the same mile long sentence. By the time you read the instructions your brain is so twisted up, can't even add two plus two. And if you do make an error, they already know about it.

Course, you can hire a tax attorney, only problem with that is they charge three times as much to enter an invoice as what you charged working out in the cold for hours.

What a way to start off a new year, think I will get drunk new years eve night and stay drunk, hear the Russians do that, they must be a step ahead of us.
