finding a service port adapter

Wayne on Sat December 08, 2007 8:19 PM User is offline

Year: 1983
Make: porsche
Model: 944
Engine Size: 2.4L
Refrigerant Type: R12

On the 83-944, the low side service port on the compressor is located such that it is impossible to attach a hose; a low-profile 90 deg R12-R12 (schrader) adapter is needed! I have looked everywhere, but cannot find such an adapter. Does anyone know where one can be found?

Check out these adaptors, I belive "C" is what you need

Mastercool charging adaptors then e-mail the guys at Ackits.com with the mastercool number and they can give you a price, and get it for you..Hope this helps..

chick:

Thanks buddy, looks like the 90 deg (B in the table) might do it! I will email ACkit guys to see if it is available.
