daman on Wed October 03, 2007 4:27 PM User is offlineView users profile

I'm sure i'm done using my JB 7cfm 2stage pump so it's going into storage till
next summer so my "Q" is, how should i store it,

1- with clean fresh oil

2- with the oil that's in it(only has 3-4 pulls on it)

3- with no oil(drain it out)

also i have a oiled plastic bag that it came in that i'm putting it back into also

all thoughts are welcome.

By all means, store the unit with fresh oil - that is essential. The plastic bag it came in is fine. I would also avoid storing the unit directly on a concrete floor, and avoid storing it in a non-climate controlled area.
