Your forum is a great place to find answers and I am hoping that someone can help me with mine.

I am needing to replace my receiver/dryer and would like to know if the OEM part, (AC Delco PN 15-1596, GM #2724691) is compatible with R134 refrigerant. My vehicle was originally equipped with R12, but I am converting it to R134. Also, with the conversion, would I use the same orifice (white/black) or do you recommend changing to a different color?

Thanks

Unless you find someone selling something that has been sitting on the shelf since 91 I don't see any issues. Most accumulator manufactures were using the correct desiccant for R12 and R134a even before the mandate.
