Evaporator Question for AMA

Year: 1999
Make: Jeep
Model: Grand Cherokee
Engine Size: 4.7
Refrigerant Type: 134a

I need a new Evaporator so I came to the best source I know of. When I went on your site you have two of them listed one for $61 and another for $81. Just wanted to know the difference. Also the Accumulator you sell is very low priced 31.78. Is it steel or aluminum? Great prices by the way.

One is made in China and one locally (US) according to my vendor information.

China

US

Accum/hose is aluminum. I'm going to double check that price when I get back in the office. Seems a little low to me knowing what accum/hose sets normally run.

Tim - if those are the "actual photos" and just not typical photos - the evap hard lines appear to be at completely different locations and angles.

Not if you rotate the bottom image. It's just the way we captured the image.

Tim I was looking at the evaporator picture you have on your web page as well as the one you posted her. Both pictures are missing the foam insulation on the lines which all the other evaporators have. Was It taken off for photo reasons. The ones I have seen and taken out on my car look like this. I need the evaporator by next Friday so I will be ordering probally tommorow just want to make sure I have the correct parts with no issues since this is a rather larger job to do. Thankyou for your time.

Darn I need to raise my prices!!!! That stuff on the tubes is what we call Prestite tape. Now you can just order some here in this link. Or I can wrap it on the tubes for you and charge the Jeep sites cost.

PS: I do have the US core in stock ready to ship. I would need to check our main vendor for the China model.
